Transfer of reinsurance non-life business from Delvag Versicherungs-AG (“Delvag”) to Accredited Insurance (Europe) Limited (“AIEL”)
Please take notice that the portfolio transfer agreement of non-life reinsurance business from Delvag Versicherungs-AG (“Delvag”) to Accredited Insurance (Europe) Limited (“AIEL”) was authorized on 18 August 2022 by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht, BaFin) and therefore took effect on 09 September 2022. Delvag has transferred all non-life treaty reinsurance business underwritten by Delvag and its predecessors to AIEL. The termination right according to Art. 13 (7) of the German Insurance Supervision Act shall not apply, as the transferred reinsurance contracts have already expired.
Change of Administration
With immediate effect, the contractual partner and contact going forward for the Reinsurance Portfolio will now be AIEL.
AIEL is part of R&Q Insurance Holdings Ltd. (R&Q Group), an EU domiciled A.M. Best rated (A- Excellent) insurance company headquartered in Malta. AIEL is licensed for all classes 1 – 18 with freedom of services across the EU and EEA, and a branch in the UK.
AIEL is supervised by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and by the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA).
The ongoing administration and management of AIEL’s business is handled by R&Q Central Services Limited, a services division of the R&Q Group.
