  • Manages the US legal operations of the Group's insurance/reinsurance and service companies.
  • Serves as an officer and director of R&Q Reinsurance Company, Goldstreet Insurance Company, Transport Insurance Company and for R&Q USA Inc.
  • Has more than 20 years experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry and has been involved in more than 250 arbitrations involving a variety of issues impacting ceded/assumed claims, commutations, statutory regulation, liquidation and insolvency disputes, pool/MGA/TPA managed business and alternative risk/finite products.
  • Prior to joining R&Q in December 2006, served as SVP and Counsel with Horizon Management Group with responsibility for managing the discontinued operations of The Hartford.
  • Began training in the insurance business with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, first working on legal issues/claims for the National Accounts Division and then focusing on APH legacy claims in the Company's environmental department.
  • Has been a member of the US arbitration trade association, ARIAS*US, since 1996.
