Richard is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry, initially in the broking arena and, since 1993, in the run-off sector for the Company market and more recently the Lloyd’s market.
Richard was a founder member of KMS which was acquired by the R&Q Group in September 2008 and has been actively involved in several strategic corporate activities including the successful closure of the KWELM Companies.
Richard’s current roles at R&Q include:
• Responsible for the claims and reinsurance operations on behalf of the Group’s clients covering the Lloyd’s and Company markets.
• The acquisition, development and ongoing management of several of the Group’s current clients.
He has travelled extensively throughout the USA, Continental Europe and the UK representing the Group.
