  • Head of the Claims Department for R&Q Reinsurance Company, Transport Insurance Company and Goldstreet Insurance Company.
  • Has managed, for the past 10 years, two large casualty reinsurance underwriting pools with loss reserves of approximately US$1.5 billion in run-off.
  • Manages a team of over 25 whose responsibilities include direct, ceded and assumed claims handling of mostly complex asbestos, pollution and other long-term exposure claims, together with reinsurance accounting.
  • Supervises all internal and external legal staff involved in coverage arbitrations.
  • Has over 28 years experience within the reinsurance industry.
  • Joined R&Q in October 2010 with the purchase of ETMC by the Group.
  • Previously held several management positions for CIGNA's Ceded Reinsurance Department, and was a Planning and Control Manager having responsibility for operational plans, budgets and workflow analysis.
  • A graduate of Penn State University, Bachelor of Science.
